Are you an Ultra Runner looking for a Pacer? Would you like to be a Pacer? Volunteering as a Pacer is a great way to give back to the ultra running community and a great experience for someone training for an ultra.

What is a Pacer?  A pacer is someone who’s runs with the runner at a certain point of the race.  This usually happens during the night but it really depends on the events rules.  The biggest part of the Pacer’s job is to help the runner navigate the course and encourage the runner. Depending on the race, a Pacer may be expected to run 25 to 50 miles. A Pacer is often the unsung hero of the ultra world and anyone considering running an ultra should volunteer as a pacer.

Even if your aren’t training for an ultra but you’re looking for a training partner in your area, we’d be glad to post it for you.

Fill out the form below with as much information as you can and we’ll post if for free.  Some information we would like:

  • Your location
  • What event you are training for or the event you would like to be a Pacer for.
  • Your email address
  • Any information you feel might be relevant.
